(2023) “Pearl Clutching” (20” x 20”) is the 9th and final drawing in the Reflecting Pool Series. Referencing the etymological image of a genteel woman clutching her pearls in shock, I wanted to end this series reframing recreational moral outrage into a delightful portrait of subversion.
