(2020) "The Fields Have Ears" is the 8th drawing in my Campfire Stories Series. The title is a nod and a wink to Wes Craven's 1977 film, "The Hills Have Eyes", but this piece really pays homage to the corn fields that surrounded me as a kid. I grew up with the 1984 movie "Children of the Corn" scaring me and my friends. And while it didn't keep us from running through the rows during the day, after sunset the fields were terrifying. You couldn't drag us into those fields after dark.
